Nowadays pure electric vehicle has a rapidly developing. Electric equipment occupy a large percentage in the whole car. the security of electromagnetic-field strength in electric vehicle will directly decide the EV’s industrialized production. So it’s most important to make a numerical simulation during a vehicle’s development. Now the research about motor’s magnetic field are all concentrate on motor’s internal magnetic field and it’s effect for power performance. Lack some research on electric-field’s security. Firstly this paper analysed the possible health effects by low frequency electric-magnetic field. When the magnetic intensity reach04μ T, person would be get a bad affect. And the national standard involved electric vehicle are still has some deficiency. Based on above, we achieved drive motor and approximate vehicle structure’s modeling by Maxwell2D and acquired magnetic field distribution from the simulation. Then Use RMxprt software designed the three-phase induction motor’s structure and performance parameters. Mean while with approximate vehicle simulation we acquired the3D magnetic field distribution from it. In addition, according to some GB we formulate a measurement scheme for a pure electric vehicle and use advanced electric-magnetic analyzer NBM550to make a actual measurement test in cab and some equivalent position out of cab. At last, we compared the measure date and simulation result, and proved the validity of the simulation, analyzed the security of magnetic-field strength causing by motor. At last, several advice and view for the improvement of simulations in the further research are suggested...
