As the economy grows continuously, the global demands more energy and energy exploration becomes the focus of the world. However, the economic development has caused serious pollution to the environment. More people become concerned about the greenhouse effect caused by excessive carbon dioxide. Energy saving and emission reduction make every country under pressure in developing economy. Recently the world is putting much investment on exploring new energy; wind power has become the focus of new energy development because it is renewable and pollution-free. Technological progress promoted the development of wind power; all the countries in the world are accelerating the exploration of wind power. China has exceeded United States of America and become the largest country of exploring wind power in six years.Nowadays, because the time of wind power plant construction in our country is short, the contract mode efficiency of wind farm construction project needs to be improved; project risk management of wind farm construction still needs to be strengthened. Basing on the construction project contracting model and wind power plant engineering in our country.we discussed the wind power plant project contraction management mode and its risk evaluation in this study. We clarified the operation mechanism, management process and risk control methods of general construction contract mode by analyzing previous construction project modes in our country. Then we introduce the AHP and present the risk evaluation model of the general contracting mode of the wind power plant construction projects, and give some suggestions on the management of risks.
