In the development of electronic technology field,the computer control andmanagement techniques have widely been fusion with all walks of life. In the financialand other areas, IC card with its own advantages (big storage capacity, good in secrecy,easy to carry, can use repeatedly, etc.)widely applied and give full play to its ownadvantages. In the electric power industry, power measurement, control andmanagement requires more and more higher, IC card prepayment watt-hour meter as anovel energy metering charges tools, are more and more get the welcome from powersector.Nowadays, domestic IC card watt-hour meter is poor at security, reliability,compatibility and expand.This paper introduces a kind of prepayment watt-hour meterdesign and implementation based on STM32F IC card, and the main contents include:electric energy meter design technology foundation, demand analysis and summarydesign, software and hardware design, system operation analysis and performancetesting.It’s focus on demand analysis and designing and the characteristics of the detailedintroduction for related hardware and software. This topic based on the electric energymeasurement and digital signal processing theory research, the peripheral hardwareadopt modular design, and adopt ADE7755which is produced by the United StatesADI company as the power energy metering chip and with STM32F as the main controlchip.The RS-485communication module can complete electrical energy storage andexchange of information in time.Stable power module provides backup power for thewhole instrument design.LCD module clear reflect the real-time power information forcustomers. Instrument using the single chip microcomputer technology, design anddevelopment of a multi-function electronic watt-hour meter.
