With the progress of economic and social development, the improvement of science andtechnology, and the enhancement of informationization, new research projects andchallenges are brought about to the development of power grid under the seriouscircumstances of global resource shortage and environmental pollution. In order to meet therequirements of the sustainable development in the future, actively develop clean, efficient,reliable, self-healing and interactive intelligent power grid, which relies on moderninformation, communication and control techniques became the development objectives forthe international electrical power. The open information system and mode of informationsharing are the basis of smart grids. Along with the comprehensive construction of smartgrids, all levels of the dispatching centers are accelerating their construction pace. Taking theIntelligent scheduling technology as a support system of dispatching center basic platform,the "integrated, standard, and intelligent" dispatch automation system would be planned,constructed and perfected step-by-step.This dissertation starts with "Research based on unified information modeling of smartsubstation and scheduling master station and its application ", takes power grid intelligentscheduling characteristics and requirement of development as technical background. Basedon the research status of both domestic and international intelligent scheduling of power grid,this dissertation posts the potential problems that should be solved to achieve the integrationof power grid intelligent dispatching system, puts forward the general framework of theoperation system, points out the importance of information modeling technology in realizingof the power grid intelligent dispatching, makes a comparative analysis of IEC61970/61968CIM and IEC61850SCL according to the overview of information modeling theory, andthen makes a research study and puts forward a expansion project of power systemprotection model based on the IEC61970standard.Based on the research and analysis of CIM/SCL secondary system unified modeling, thelast part of this dissertation puts forward model extension design principles ofIEC61970/61968CIM and IEC61850SCL, mapping rules of SCL model to a unified model,secondary system unified modeling based on CIM/SCL, constructs Source End Maintenanceproject, IEC61970and IEC61850model extended project and MMS communication projectof smart substation and scheduling master station. The projects mentioned above are appliedon the one hand in dispatching automation master station and substation systems, on theother hand in the Source End Maintenance test tools of master station and substation. Having been debugged and verified in a key laboratory of power grid, these projects are bound tohave very good promotion prospects in the future.
