With the development of society and economy, the promotion of advanced and practicaltechnology, the development of the power transmission and distribution capacity, the optimalutilization of the land resources, the reduce of the network loss and the minimum of theinvestment are in the face, for the power grid construction process of land and line corridorresources are increasingly tense. In the electric power system, the transformer substationwhich is the assembly place of the power transmission and power distribution takes care ofthe important mission, such as loading tidal power, accepting and distributing electricity andcontrolling change and adjusting the voltage and so on. Transformer substation is composedof the primary equipment and secondary equipment.The project construction project of the power transmission has the followingcharacteristics: the amount of the investment is very large, and the required amount ofresources is also very large, but gradually increasing of the risk of the capital investmentpayback period is quite long. The construction of the power transmission project in additionto some of the features should also play a positive role in both energy policy and energysaving.The key to its success or failure is whether the correct decision is right or wrong. Theinvestment risks can be avoided on account of strengthening and standardizing thetransmission project study and its scientific analysis and prediction. Power engineering studycan help us to determine whether the project should be the basis for investment decisions,which is the integral part of the project cycle. Power engineering study contains the processthat making judgments and decisions by the technical and economic comparison of differentbuilding programs.In this paper, the power requirement of the Qitaihe City Jiwei Company has beenanalyzed. Considering the Qitaihe developments and the physiographic condition of theJiwei company, the power transmission project analysis has been made. The necessity of thepower transmission project is stressed. A110kV substation is constructed in the Jiweicompany and is connected to the electric fence which can not only meet the electricitydemand of the Jiwei company but also transfer the electric from the Jiwei company to theQitaihe City which can enhanced the power grids construction of Qitaihe City in response tothe call of the national low-carbon, environmental protection. In this paper, Fieldinvestigation has been spotted, and analysis and calculation of the power project combinedwith the technical and economic comparison of the program have be made, whichdemonstrates the feasibility of the construction of the110kV Power transmissionengineering. In this paper the necessary guidance of the construction of the project has beenmade to take decision-making more reasonable, scientific, objective and more in line withthe investment principles of economic and environmental benefits for the center of themodern enterprise.
