With the implementation of the national energy conservation policy, traditional fishing boats replacement gradually carry out, which increased demand of new energy-saving vessels, promoted the technology development of the fishing vessel design, and requiring vessel design continuous developing and innovation. For new designed fishing boats, two-dimensional drawing are still the mainstream design express method, but its inherent limitations are also highlight, the demand of virtual simulation technology to assist or take the place of the two-dimensional design technology have become stronger and stronger in shipbuilding indurstry. Virtual verification based three-dimensional simulation can be a good solution to the problem in the spatial arrangement, structure, type, equipment operation and fast feedback design changes requirements which make design more efficiency and improve design quality.This thesis rely on fiberglass fishing boats public special fund,"Fishing industry energy-saving key technology research and development of major equipments", by using CATIA software, study the research status and results of the virtual simulation technology at home and abroad, combined with the theory of ergonomics, using a fiberglass fishing boats as the prototype, several major problems during the entire vessel design virtual verification process have been studied and technology developed. Including:ship hull offsets data extraction and fast ship hull modeling, marine equipment modeling methods and suggestions, real-time rendering and general assembly, combined with ergonomics virtual simulation.By studing the research of secondary development of AutoCAD and CATIA, develop practical program, extract shape line data from AutoCAD drawings, and automatically import data points to CATIA and generate the ship hull; refering to previous research, analysis and discuss the ship’s equipment modeling, rendering and assembly processes and methods, and work with researching practice, put up some recommendations on the modeling technology of marine equipments; refering to Chinese adult body size national standards, combined with the body range of motion in ergonomics, define comfort levels, according to the angle range of the virtual human model, apply the comfort level definitions to the virtual human model. Elaborated methods and processes of evaluation of using a robot model to simulate the human normal work. Show the methods and principle of making body comfort evaluation, biomechanical analysis, posture evaluation and view evaluation by virtual simulation examples. The research on three-dimensional simulation, virtual reality design verification, applications contribute to the continuous development and progress in ship design. The technology of data extraction, modeling methods, the assembly of characteristics expounded in the article has some practical value and significance, and the tactics of validate design by virtual verification technology combined with ergonomic could provide a reference to research in the field.
