Research On Special School Buses Design For Primary School Students In Mountainous Rural

Most of school bus accidents occurred in mountainous rural areas in recent years, thearea is vast, complicated geographical environment, higher request on the school bus safetyperformance. Due to the imperfect social system, and backward economy, school buspurchase and maintenance cost is lower. There are differences about design of school busin the market compared with developed areas, hence need to redesign the school bus formountainous countryside.In view of the mountainous rural school bus design research at home and abroad isshortage. In the domestic, big school bus manufacturers design the school bus by imitatingthe existing model in Europe and the United States. The school bus tend to High-tech,good comfort but just suit to good road environment. The purchase and maintenance cost ishigh and conflict with the status quo of mountainous rural areas in China, so it is necessaryto research the school bus design for mountainous rural areas in our country.At first, analyzed the recent school bus safety accidents, and interpreted the causes ofthe accident in detail, then took the school buses exhibited in the first China school busexhibition for example, analyzed existing school bus both at home and abroad, in theaspect of external shape, internal structure, security details, found out shortcomings of ourschool bus and the place worthy of learning abroad. Then investigated the geographicalenvironment, traffic situation and economic situation of mountainous countryside, I foundout the weak links in terms of school bus design. According to the above analysis, Iattempted to establish a set of theoretical system about mountainous area rural primaryschool bus design. Finally I made a school bus mode by computer aided design software.
