The cause of rural education is an important part of education in our country. Therural boarding junior high school is the birth of China’s rural schools to adjust thelayout, which develops fast day by day. The building of rural boarding junior highschool is an important factor to achieve a comprehensive well-off society in China andto rejuvenate the country through science and education. However, due to many otherfactors, our boarding junior high school life service area still lacks sufficient attentionand scientific and rational research. Its function is only in the level of "shelter", whichdid not fully reflect its practicality, regional and educational function.As an architect, in terms of their level of knowledge and work areas, the core toattention junior high school-age children in rural areas is to study school buildingdesign specific strategies. This paper starts from the reality of rural education, throughthe exploration of the designer about rural boarding junior high school life servicefunctional area to arouse attention to the living environment of rural junior highschool-age children in school. We would like this exploration can add the lack oftheory from a professional point of view in this area and in practice to guide the designof the existing rural boarding junior high school life services functional area, in orderto provide some theoretical guidance and architectural design for rural education.This thesis starts from the point of view of theoretical research,with findings andstatistics as the theoretical basis, combined with the theory and methods of statistics,psychology, environmental behavior, learning and architecture disciplines to analyzeChina’s rural boarding junior high school students and teachers the living areacharacteristics and needs of the theoretical and practical basis for a specific buildingdesign. And then, from the characteristics of rural boarding junior high school and lifeservices functional area, four types of design are systematically and detailedlyanalysized, that is, the functions and layout of rural boarding junior high school lifeservices functional area, building functions and space design, outdoor environment design and color design of living area. Finally, the design principles of boarding schoollife services function area are summarized, and the development trend is prospected.And the design is supplemented from the ecological naturalization, characteristiclocalization, intelligent completion and open socialization. Through this paper to findquestions and give their own proposals, we hope we can help improve the livingenvironment of rural children in school and attract valuable opinions to the study thedesigner about rural boarding junior high school life service functional area.
