Trend in the development of the manufacturing industry and the practical needsof the manufacturing industry in Xinjiang, there are large-scale plant construction andre-layout of the old plant, new techniques to study this question will have importantsignificance both in the theory and practical application. On the basis of reviewing therelated studies in both at home and abroad, This paper builds a automobile assemblyplant layout programs and visual models which have combined the advantage ofhuman-computer interaction and immersive three-dimensional display of virtualreality technology, using Systematic layout planning(SLP), analytic hierarchyprocess evaluation method and computer simulation technology. According to theactual situation of enterprises and production process characteristics, the paper usedsimplified systematic layout planning got three layout plans, then used analytichierarchy process to evaluate the plans and select a good one, last used the parametricmodeling method to make practical workshop visualization. The major work asfollows:1) By the analysis of product and quantity and process, SLP method was used todivide the operating unit to determine the mutual relations of the operating units, thelogistics channel width, work unit area and special requirements of the assemblyshop.Considering the actual use of the area, shape.etc. Of workshop, initial plan ofthis workshop was obtained.2)Evaluate and select the optimal solution, first established the evaluation indexsystem of the assembly workshop,then Used AHP method to establish thehierarchical structure model and judgment matrix of the assembly workshop, tohierarchy process sort,total ranking and test the consistency as well as select theoptimal evaluation of workshop layout.3) Based on the selected plan and virtual reality technology and digitalprototypes, through a virtual reality simulation software and hardware platform, providing a complete set of human-computer interaction and immersivethree-dimensional environment simulation system and a visual layout of theautomobile assembly plant.4) Summing up, identify shortcomings and further research can be done.
