In recent years, more and more machinery industry began to try to import the corporate identity system (CIS) strategy, attach importance to product identity design image strategy. On one hand, the machinery industry developed rapidly,and began to aim at the international market, and look forward to face consumers with a independent image in line with international market. On the other hand, companies are beginning to realize the Identified characteristics of the product can build a bridge of communication with the user, so as to enhance the brand influence, the added value and market competitiveness, however, the product identification (PI) theory which corporate design strategy rely on is not yet perfect, many enterprises only conduct the design of ancillary products unilaterally, therefore the situation became practice prevailing and theory lags behind. The main content of this paper is based on product identification and the relationship with the enterprises and user, and deepen the content of product identification. Through the analysis of product concept recognition, visual recognition, behavior recognition, the thesis build the product identification system, which aims to improve the innovation theory research to guide industry practice activities.The first part of the paper, starting with the establishment of the corresponding relations of corporate identity (Corporate Identity referred to as CI) and the product identification (PI), analyze the positioning of the corporate and product identification that the PI should be used as an independent instances exist in which the CI system with CI philosophy, behavior, visual three levels of content there is a direct link. Secondly, analysis of relationship is defined from the user and the product identification:Meeting user’s emotion is the basic property of the product identification, it can better improve the identification content based people-oriented. Finally, based on the above analysis, the paper import the specific content of the product identification, and parse the content from product concept to identify three levels of visual recognition, behavior recognition.The second part of the paper is to build Product Identification System (Product Identity System, referred to PIS). First, I import the content of the product identification to Product identification system (PIS), and establish the hierarchical relationship of PIS elements and PIS framework. Second, in the framework of the system analyzed:The establishment of product identification systems mainly depend on corporate positioning and market research, former confirm PIS gene, the latter outlines can establish identify the elements, the two co-aided design work. The gene of PIS is the origin of enterprise growth and tradition and the base that enterprises create "Familial Appearance". Its capture is the most primary of corporate identity design strategy. Based on market research which is the study of the major competitors in the market, it can create a step-by-step summary mainly from product concept recognition, visual recognition, behavior recognition three levels of recognition element:(1) The product concept identification refine the value of the business and culture from the two perspectives of the development of philosophy and the concept of products and services. The concept of product development is for the purpose of product innovation, mapped to the conceptual design of the product; the concept of product service is for the purpose of special services, reflected in the peripheral system (packaging, transportation, brochures, manuals, products). In this paper, through subdivision of development and service two concepts angle, meet user emotions better.(2) Factor analysis is the analysis of the visual elements of the product modeling elements, modeling technique, detail components, visual recognition summarized from the analysis can be established to identify the visual elements.(3) Factor analysis in the product behavior recognition, on the one hand, research the operating behavior of the user control area (especially console), on the other hand, research users and non-control area interaction (referring to the part of the product in addition to the console). Based on the analysis of user behavior observation and research, create a design element which can meet user comfort, and guide the user during using to develop a specific habit. This design element can be used as recognition elements to meet the user’s emotional dependence.This paper has expounded the contents of the product identification, the hierarchical relationship of the constituent elements of the product identification, product identification system, as well as product identification system design, focusing on product identification system and application, combined with design practice in Deca Glass Machinery Co., Ltd., and the products have been in the case of products from conceptual design into products and recognized by users and manufacturers. Therefore, the content of this paper has some reference value for the relational design study.
