During the past few centuries, the traffic problems that afflict urban communities have been increasingly prominent. The safe、 fast、efficient urban rails caught the most attention then. Subway becomes the most popular rail system. However, the large investment behind and long construction cycle let many cities flinch and turn their attention to Monorail, which cost less and could be built fast.Because of the unique outlook of the suspended monorail, it could satisfy sightseeing purpose at the same time of easing the traffic congestion. The line in Wuppertal is just a successful example.But the research of suspended monorail in China has just started. This paper was aimed to provide some technical support for the further studies.With many related materials for reference, this paper analyzed and extracted the main parts and the interaction between of the suspended monorail. The dynamic vehicle model then was built in SIMPACK, which was used to simulate the performance of the vehicle working under different situations. The force on wheels and guiding wheels, the acceleration of the mass center and the rolling angle of the car-body were all analyzed in the paper.This paper gave out these main result:1) It tested and verified the parameters of the elastic components right with different presetting guiding forces;2) It got the variations of the vertical and lateral forces of the walking wheels, the radial force of the guiding wheels, and also the performance of the acceleration of the mass center and the rolling angle of the car-body;3) It got influence to the performance of the vehicle caused by the superelevation on line;4) By changing the velocity of vehicle, it got the relation between velocity and the related performance parameters;5) It found the mass center positon on the car-body wouldn’t affect the performance of vehicle much.
