Under the background of the urban transport problems highlighted, the concept of public transport priority development has been the common response of each large-sized and medium-sized city. In reality, however, the problems such as traffic congestion in conventional bus lines, frequently transferring in different bus routes have been still very serious. Coordinating between the capacity of each bus line of transit network and creating convenient, comfortable public transportation travel environment, is not only an important topic of the bus network optimization, but also an important measure in response to the higher requirement for the bus service of the residents.Aiming at a single crowded bus lines, this paper compares the constituents of the passenger flow to the passengers and the proportion of transfer passenger size, and along the main direction of traffic flow, adjusts direction of traffic flow of the selected bus lines, in order to realize the route to fitting and passenger flow, reduce the condition of the crowded bus line, then increase the direct passenger volume. In the specific study, this paper firstly analyzes the many factors which influence public transit choice of the the residents, then discusses the reason why the public transit proportion is different, and describes the space-time distribution features of public transport passenger flow, in order to grasp the specific characteristics of residents’ bus flow. Meanwhile this paper introduces statistic methods, emphatically compares the advantages and disadvantages of the artificial investigation method and bus IC card data acquisition method. And the passenger transit OD data from the secondary credit card model is the main basis of analysis of passenger flow.On the basis of the above theoretical research, this paper defines the direct passengers and the transfer passenger as quasi passenger and non-quasi passenger in one public transit, and based on that this paper divides that line of passenger flow into two parts. At the same time, it defines the degree of crowded bus lines through the definition of passenger’s number of unit area, analyses the phenomenon of crowded bus lines through the perspective of passenger flow, then studies the constituent parts of the flow of passenger flow, in order to provide direction for line fitting. In the specific line fitting study, this paper firstly discusses the center of the line fitting and analyses the affecting factors such as constraints and technical constraints. In overall consideration, flexible processing, based on the principle of through fitting goal set, clustering analysis in order to find fitting lines and fitting strategy, targeted to complete the bus lines of the quasi passenger and non-quasi passenger in order to eventually reduce the transfer line, increase direct and coordinate the purpose of network transmission capacity, ease the degree of crowded in line. Finally, this paper sets two examples respectively on the crowded bus quasi passenger flow and the non-quasi passenger flow line fitting in order to verify the practicability of the research.
