Various pavement performance is often mutual restraint, conflicting, and enhance a particular aspect of pavement performance will most likely reduce the other one.Asphalt mixture ratio design is to find the optimal design between various pavement performance, usually considered local traffic conditions and climatic conditions.Considering water stability, high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, fatigue resistance and anti-slip performance of SMA-13mixture as index, using orthogonal test method to optimize the pavement performance of the mixture with gradation type, asphalt-aggregate ratio and fibers content.Firstly examine the technical nature of raw materials, including asphalt, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler and fiber stabilizer.And check the basic performance of asphalt mixture Screening test, through screening test,density test,and marshall test, to prepare for the optimization of SMA-13mixture.Secondly detect water stability, high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, fatigue resistance and anti-slip performance of SMA-13mixture by orthogonal test method, and optimize the pavement performance of the mixture with gradation type, asphalt-aggregate ratio and fibers contentFinally under the best balance condition of various pavement performance such as water stability, high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, fatigue resistance and anti-slip performance of SMA-13mixture comprehensively, the best scheme is medium gradation as gradation type, asphalt-aggregate ratio as6.0%and fibers content as0.4%.
