As the asphalt pavement has high driving comfort and simple maintenance and repair work,asphalt concrete pavements are mostly used in highways and urban roads in China,and asphalt concrete pavements are mostly paved with hot mix asphalt.The traditional hot mix asphalt mixture has higher compaction temperature and mixing temperature.In the production process,it not only consumes a lot of energy,but also generates a lot of harmful gases and dust,which is not conducive to the safety of construction workers and environmental protection.In order to solve the above problems,relevant scholars have proposed warm mix asphalt.Warm mix technology reduces the compaction and mixing temperature of the asphalt mixture by reducing the viscosity of the asphalt,thereby reducing energy consumption and pollutant emissions during construction.This paper relies on a high-altitude Tibetan area highway project,using No.110 matrix asphalt,SBS modified asphalt,SBR modified asphalt,Sasobit warming agent,External ET-3100 warming agent,and Evotherm@M1 warming agent are raw materials,and asphalt samples mixed with different types and different amounts of warming agent are prepared.The viscosity of the asphalt sample was tested by a rotational viscometer,and the viscosity reduction effects of the three warming agents were evaluated.Through the penetration test,softening point test,ductility test,dynamic shear rheological test,and simply supported beam bending creep test,the effects of different warming agents on the high and low temperature rheological properties of asphalt and PG classification were studied.The effects of warming agent on the performance of asphalt mixture were evaluated by rutting test,low temperature bending test,water immersion Marshall test,freeze-thaw split test and four-point bending fatigue life test.The test results show that when the Sasobit content is 3%,the external ET-3100 content is 0.8%,and the Evotherm@M1 dosage is 0.8%,the compaction and mixing temperature of the asphalt mixture is reduced by 20°C.Sasobit can improve the high temperature performance of asphalt binder,which will have a negative impact on the intermediate temperature performance and low temperature crack resistance of asphalt binder.External ET-3100 can improve the low temperature crack resistance of asphalt binder;Evotherm@M1 reduces the high temperature performance and low temperature performance of asphalt,But it could improve the medium temperature performance of asphalt binder.It is known from the asphalt mixture test that after adding External ET-3100 and Evotherm@M1,the road performance of the asphalt mixture meets the requirements of the specification.External ET-3100 has a negative impact on the high temperature stability and water damage resistance fatigue resistance of asphalt mixture,improving the low temperature crack resistance and of asphalt mixture;Evotherm@M1 improves the high temperature stability and fatigue resistance of asphalt mixture,and reduces the low temperature performance and water damage resistance of asphalt mixtures.
