| The rapid growth in number of vehicles, the phenomenon of the vehicles’ overload, and many problems in road construction and maintenance cause the destruction of urban road pavement increasingly serious. Consequently, it makes the road traffic function degradation, and aggravates urban traffic congestion. It is Difficult to adapt to social and economic development needs.Considering the limit of city road maintenance funds and the impact of construction on the road network system, when several roads need to be maintenance at the same time, it has important theoretical value and practical significance in how to use scientific network-level decision to determine the order of maintenance, to make the limited funds to be allocated reasonably, to maximize the reliability of the system, and to minimize the adverse impacts of the maintenance construction on the traffic.Funded by NSFC project "A Research on the Phased Technological Evaluations and Decisions of the Urban Road and Traffic Schemes Based on the Function Analysis"(Item number:51278468), this paper researches on Urban Roads’ Network-level Maintenance Decision-making based on system reliability.Firstly, urban road pavement condition evaluation index has been set. Selecting part area of Zhengzhou city as the object of investigation, we investigate the pavement damage condition in the area, and make the statistical analysis on survey data.Secondly, regional road network model is established, and each section of unit reliability is determined. We use the Monte Carlo simulation method to calculate the unit sensitivity, the unit revised sensitivity and system reliability.Thirdly, five kinds of network-level decision-making strategies are put forward, including the strategy based on pavement damage degree, the strategy based on the unit sensitivity, the strategy based on the unit revised sensitivity, the strategy combined with the pavement damage degree and unit sensitivity, and the strategy combined with the pavement damage degree and unit revised sensitivity. Making network system reliability ascension as the main decision-making basis, we analyze and compared the five kinds of strategies above-mentioned. |
