The Research On Protection And Utilization Of The Historical And Cultural Villages Of Jiaozhuuanghu In Beijing

Jiao Zhuanghu Village has been rated a famous Chinese historical and culturalvillage in recent years for its unique historical and cultural values being oneof the key battlefronts of relics in times of Anti-Japanese War.However, in thelong marching of years of revolutionary tourism exploitation, sorts ofchallenges and contraditons emerging in heritage protection against resourceexploitation become a major conundrum for Jiao Zhunaghu Village, a village insocial transformation and urbanization construction. How to make JiaoZhuanghu’s historical and cultural heritage continue to be protected andinherited in efficiency? How to tackle protection and utilazation in a correctway so as to realize relic protection coexists with development after thenational statement of combining revolutionary sites with local economicprosperity and improvement to residents’living conditons is proposed. Thisthesis is aimed at the above questions and possible resolutions taking the famoushistorical and cultural Village of Jiao Zhuanghu as an exanple into research.Based on full investigation and analysis of the historical values and existingproblems embended in the village, further attempts to concretize approches forsheilding and making use of its historical and cultural relics are consideredfor protection and development coexistence of Jiao Zhuanghu Village.The Paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter One is introduction to the research objectives and significance,contents and methods of the research, and further explanation of correlated coreconcepts and research status home and abroad are illustrated.Chapter Two first introduce the general situation and historical evolutionof Jiao Zhuanghu Village, then discuss its unique historical and cultural valuesin prospectives of material culture and non-material culture with correspondingevaluation.Chapter Three elaborates current problems arising in the proceeding ofprotecting historical relics and exploiting revolutional resources relying onrepeated spot investigation, after which possible causes of these problems areanalyzed; it also affirms that sustainable development defines the urgency andnecessity in effective protection and rational utilization, way to correctly deal with the two matters is set forth.Chapter Four probes into protective methods under the direction of overallprotection. It illustrates practical methods to defend material and non-materialculture in Jiao Zhuanghu Village with partial protection and systematicprotection strategies.Chapter Five discusses development opportunities the village is confrontedwith in reality; tentative investigation of establishing tunnel warfarerevolutionary tourism region in the village is carried out, guided byrevolutionary culture as the principle line under reseasonable utilization.The last chapter serves as conclusion and sums up the whole thesis withexlanation of key points and contents.
