The Hybrid Electrical Vehicle has become the world-wide development trend since the character of lower consumption and emission.The Automated Mechanical Transmission AMT is a type of ideal transmission for passenger cars,which possesses many advantages such as simple structure,excellent capability,easy operation,low cost,high efficiency,low air pollution,and so on.One of the key control technologies of the AMT is start-clutch control.There are some basic types of starting-clutch equipment such as hydraulic torque converter, electromagnetic clutch and multiple wet clutch and so on.Multiple wet clutch which is a type of starting-clutch with particular structure,high efficiency and low price is used widely.The control strategy of clutch based on fuzzy technique of multiple wet clutch for AMT and its actuator are researched in this dissertation.The detail contents are as follows:First of all,the principle of multiple wet clutch is expounded.The model of start-control clutch is deduced,and controlling the clamp force accurately is the key factor.The dynamics model of the clutch is established in the Matlab/Simulink,the output of which include the speed of engine and clutch’s passive slice.Secondly,the model of clutch starting pressure is established based on the fuzzy control strategy.In this system,our control strategy is that attaining the starting-time through using the fuzzy control for driver intention,and getting the goal pressure according to special arithmetic by integrating the resistance torque and speed of engine.The whole car model is integrated by the dynamic model,hydraulic model,engine model and pressure control model.The simulation result of different starting cases is gained.Finally,based on the test bed,we get the map of speed,torque and clutch pressure by controlling the duty cycle of high-speed on-off valves.Comparing with the test results of bench, the simulation results indicated this controlling strategy of starting-clutch for AMT is feasible and effective and all of the car’s performances can be satisfied by using this controlling strategy.
