Research On The Development Of Niubeiliang Nature Reserve

Shaanxi Niubeiliang National Nature Reserve is located in eastern stretch of Qinling Mountains standing at the border area of Changan county, Ningshan county and Zhashui county. The reserve covers an area of16849.1hectares. At present this reserve is the unique national nature reserve of takin, national1st level protected animal in China, and its habitat in order to protect forest and wild animal. The reserve was given a license to establish by the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province at October1980. Although it develops rapidly, the reserve still has some problems, such as:fast developing is difficult to adept to protecting demand; the shape, size and boundary demarcation of the reserve are not appropriate; severe exploitation still exist around the reserve and the management standards of community still in the low grade.Aiming at these practical problems, author found that some elements affect the development of Niubeiliang reserve through the research. The main elements are at the following:the habitat fragmentation of reserve influence biodiversity protection; closing to epidemic area bring difficult at the forest pest control; complication of forest fire prevention; ecological culture construction fail to play a role; local economic development effect biodiversity protection.In order to solve the problems above, the following measures are proposed.1. Call for constantly the sound legal system, do the external propaganda work well, get social identity.2. Obtain the support by government, build biological corridor, make the eastward expansion come true, and break habitat fragmentation impact.3. Construct forest pest management system, fire prevention system.4. Participating in local economic construction should be developed under the resource protection.5. Strengthen ecological and culture protection, make human and nature harmoniously develop in protection work.6. Actively develop digital and standardization management, improve reserve work entirely.
