Huizhou City has abundant landwood resource,it has713970hm~2forestry landwhich is the biggest in nine cities of Pearl River Delta. Huizhou municipalgovernment especially put the forest eco-tourism development into the city’seconomic and social development plan, but any unreasonable eco-tourism activitiesare likely to cause damage to the woodland of Huizhou City. Therefore, usingreasonable vulnerability assessment methods of Regional woodland has significantvalue to fully protect and utilize the forest eco-tourism resources of Huizhou City, andpromote the development of tourism. This paper based on the concept and content of the ecological vulnerabilityassessment and land evaluation, obtain five influencing factors of the fragile regionalwoodland: climate, topography, vegetation, soil depth, the relationship betweenpeople and land, sum up the vulnerable suitability and restrictive factor of landwoodin Huizhou City. On this basis, build a vulnerability assessment system consisting ofnine indicators of woodland in Huizhou City. Then I analyze the relationship of thefactors. Establishing the model about soil thickness、terrain and temperature; the NPPand vegetation coverage is positive correlation; there is not simply linear relationshipbetween human forest distance and vegetation coverage while differently byareas;when the soil thickness is more than60cm,the NPP begins to decrease and theaffect factor has changed. At last, based on GIS and remote sensing technology,30mgrid for the evaluation unit, using principal component analysis to determine the indexweight, using weighted comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate and partitionthe vulnerability of forest land of Huizhou City in ArcGIS. The results classifywoodland vulnerability in Huizhou City as first class vulnerable, second classvulnerable, third class vulnerable, fourth class vulnerable, fifth class vulnerable fivelevels: first class vulnerability area is approximately126Km~2, accounting for2.08%of the total area of the evaluation; The second class vulnerable area is about605Km~2,accounting for10%of the total area of the evaluation; third class vulnerable area is about1392Km~2, accounting for23%of the total area of the evaluation; the fourth classvulnerable area is approximately1877Km~2, accounting for31%of the evaluation ofthe total area; the fifth class vulnerable is approximately2058Km~2, accounting forevaluation of total area34%. Generally speaking, the situation of Huizhou is good, while about12%is intensely vulnerable. And they are mainly distributed in thecounty of Longmen、northeast of Huidong county and the eastern part of the urbanarea, which are mainly affected by the natural and human factors. Based on thevulnerability of single-factor analysis and comprehensive evaluation, put forwardappropriate protective measures. At last, from the guiding ideology, the principle ofprotection, protection of vegetation resource, forest fire prevention engineering, forest pest control projects five aspects, this paper has proposed some measures of thewoodland eco-tourism in Huizhou City.
