In this paper, investigating research and field experiments methods were used to study the tobacco-growing soil condition of Kunming and the chemical components of flued-tobacco. The field experiments of different chlorine content of fertilizers on flued-tobacco was tested according to the investigating results, the results show that:1.Investigation of tobacco-growing Soil Nutrient Condition in KunmingThe investigation showed that there were3731tobacco-growing soil samples in Kunming from2006to2010, which were mainly red earth, purple soil, paddy soil, yellow brown soil and alluvium. Among them, red earth were71%, purple earth14%, paddy soil7%, yellow brown soil2%, alluvium0.4%, and other soil5.6%. At present,23%of tobacco-growing soil in Kunming trends to acid and pH value of other37.37%soil present a little high. Besides, highly acid soil ratio (PH>7.0) went up recently; alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen content40%of soil was lower than100mg/kg; rapid available phosphorus content of30%soil was suitable, and rapid available phosphorus of other about20%soil was short of phosphorus; rapidly available potassium content of44%tobacco-growing soil was below150mg/kg of the critical level; as the use of chlorine fertilizer, chlorinity in soil went up. Chlorinity of93%soil were below30mg/kg in2006, while70%in2009to2010.2.Investigation and study the internal chemical composition of tobacco leaves in Kunming tobacco-growing districtBased on the1360flue-cured tobacco samples of Kunming from2007to2010to get7812kinds of data, the content of total sugar, reducing sugar were higher and the content of nicotine was moderate, sugar/nicotine ratio was wide, the values relatively high, which accorded with the characteristic of relatively high total sugar and medium nicotine content in the flue-cured tobacco of Kunming tobacco-growing.The smoking quality had proved:the index of odor type and combustibility remains stable in different years, odor quality, quantity, density, complex odors, strength, thrill, remaining taste and grey made some difference, and it was not obvious.3.Impact of different content of chlorine fertilizer use on tobacco yield and qualityBased on test sites of different content of chlorine fertilizer into field, this research had proved that if the content of chlorine fertilizer of45mk/hm2was suitable, it could be beneficial for the growth of tobacco, gentle and stretchy leaves. It would not be broken easily, and then the content, quality and ratio of upper and middle level of tobacco went up; the chlorinity trended low or high, smoking quality presented low. Suitable chlorinity could improve flue-cured tobacco agronomic trait like plant height, stem girth, pitch, available leaves and leaf area coefficient, decrease the morbidity like TMV, wildfire and rust; improve economic index like acre yield, acre output values, average price, and ratio of upper and middle-upper tobacco.
