| With the continuous development of our national potato industry, the acreage and the productivity of potato are increasing, and the mechanization of potato harvest have being grown. However, the separation result of the soil and potato is not ideal, and the tubers are vulnerable to damage during the process of separating. Against the issues that damage to potato tubers during harvesting, the experiment designs the dynamics testing bench of potatoes. To obtain the impact value, the wireless three-dimensional sensors were put into the potatoes to get the acceleration signals under the conditions of different swing separation rates. This research as an original method to analyze dynamics of potatoes, also provides a certain reference for the design and optimization of potato mechanical production equipments such as potato harvester and separator.(1) It is feasible that put the wireless three-dimensional sensors into the potatoes to get the acceleration signals, and this is a better solution to substitute the artificial test-ball.(2) The resultant acceleration of the potatoes grows with the increase of the swing frequency of the separation of the potato harvester. On the contrary, the resultant acceleration of the potatoes declines with the decrease of the inclination of the swing.(3) Because the state of motion along the short axis direction is prone to change, for the ellipsoidal potato, the acceleration in its long axis is lower than the other two directions.(4) Soil can be a good protection to reduce the damage of the potatoes during the harvesting process. Meanwhile, to prevent the potatoes from being damaged, the sieve should not be too long. |
