As a major agricultural province, Jilin Province has acquired brilliant achievements since China’s reform and opening up to outside world. However, there are many problems of the low agricultural level of science and technology, focusing on extensive, backward, resource-consuming production for a long time as well as increasingly serious problems of environmental degradation and agricultural resource shortage hindering sustainable development of agriculture. Facing the various problems of hindering sustainable development of agriculture in Jilin Province, In this study, a novel model as a bridge between agriculture and livestock has been constructed. We did some relative regional trials in Wukeshu, Jilin Province. We carried out economic accounting of this model and traditional modes of agricultural production. By accounting economic and ecological value, we determined whether it was an effective model of agricultural sustainable development to provide a base for developing circular agriculture in Jilin Province. In this study, by using the methods of Green GDP and value of ecosystem services, combined with situation of natural resources and state of the environment in Wukeshu, a method system which included a model of accounting the novel agricultural and animal husbandry combination, economic and ecological value of traditional models of agriculture and animal husbandry has been constructed. According to the analysis of the full text, we obtained the following results and conclusions.(1) In2010, the Green GDP of the novel model of agricultural and animal husbandry combination was116015.19(?) per unit which increased70373.41(?) compared with traditional model, a increase of154.18%; Conventional agriculture GDP was50713.90(?) per unit which increased27804.45(?) compared with traditional model, a increase of121.36%; Agro-ecological GDP was65301.29(?) per unit which increased42569.06(?), a increase of187.26%.(2) Compared with traditional models the farmland loss of the new agricultural model has decreased19.15t/hm2per unit on soils, which is equivalent to decreasing1.45mm of the loss of topsoil thickness on soils. And reversing the situation of negative growth about phosphorus, potassium and organic matter to increase the content about the three nutrients in the soil. Compared with the same period of2009, the net increment was:P0.002g/kg; K0.03g/kg; organic matter1.13g/kg. The growth rate of Nitrogen was smaller than that of traditional model. Compared with the same period of2009, however, there was a lower-increase in growth rate of Nitrogen and the net growth is0.02g/kg.(3) Compared with traditional models, the increased CO2absorption, the decreased CH4and NOX emission of the novel agriculture and animal husbandry combination were24513.71kg,173.93kg and356.46kg, respectively. The decreased gas emission is131363.78kg when those gas were converted into the equivalent of CO2. In this novel model, the decreased discharge of dust, the decreased SO2, emission and the increased O2emission were270.36kg, SO229.67kg and4037.80kg, respectively.(4) There are138,000hectares of arable land and more than a million beef cattles on hand each year in the Wukeshu Economic Development Zone. It has possessed the capability that performs cosmically the basis of new agricultural model, and after the model was carried out, not only the yeild of export products slightly enhanced, but also "Organic corn" and "Green beef" producted had improved significantly on quality of products compared with the traditional model, and provided marrowy support for creating distinctive industries in the locality and upgreaded competitiveness of goods.(5) The prediction shows that farmers’ revenues in the Wukeshu Economic Development Zone will raise9.7115306billion¥, the cost for eliminating the pollution of the local government will decrease3.8370141billion¥; the O2emission will increase557.1thousands ton, the equivalent greenhouse gases" total reduction will be18.128million ton, the discharged dust and SO2will reduce37thousands ton and4.1thousands ton, respectively; the soil loss will decrease2.6427million ton, and the net content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and organics in soil will increase9thousands ton,9thousands ton,13.5thousands ton and59.78thousands ton, respectively, without reducing the original agriculture production after the Wukeshu Economic Development Zone adapting the new combined agriculture and stock farm model.Accounting the value of green GDP system constructed in this study,is a useful attempt for China’s Institute in this regard, it can reflect the gap of economic value and ecological value brought about by the different mode of agricultural production. It provide a valuable reference for agricultural development planning and related policies in Jilin province in the future.
