Research On Flower Border Status And Landscape Application In Yangzhou City

The flower border has now become a kind of familiar flower application form in the large and medium-sized cities in our country. It simulates the growth rule of wild flowers. Designers choose perennial flowers, annual and biennial plants, ball root flowers, ornamental grasses, flower bush, and other kinds of plant, and make them planted in a natural ribbon type in the forest margins, lawn, road bank and other places with refined landscaping art. It requires equilibrium in the plane and elevation, color and season in landscaping. At present, the flower borders have already appeared in Yangzhou. This paper tried to survey9places in Yangzhou to carry out more detailed information about flower border, in order to understand the current application situation about them and discover the problems of existence. Finally, this paper put forward some feasibility suggestions to promote the development of Yangzhou border. The main conclusions are as follows:1. According to the results of the survey towards flower borders of9place green space in Yangzhou city, we could see not too much flower border were applied, and it was mainly focused on the park green space, a few appeared in the residential green space, square green space and other green space.2. Through the investigation, we could see that145kinds of plant material were used in these nine place and they belonged to59families and124genera. Among them, annual and biennial flowers had36kinds, perennial flowers had28kinds, ball root flowers had9kinds, ornamental grasses had10kinds, wild flowers had29kinds, bush had33kinds. Among them, common species especially were involved in genus of Compositae, Rosaceae, Liliaceae and Gramineae, they accounted for17.9%,6.8%,4.8%and4.8%of the total.3. Through the investigation towards52m*2m sample plots, with a plant association research method, we analyzed the composition, character and species diversity of the flower border communities. In Yangzhou flower border communities, evergreen shrubs were the dominant groups, together with the herbaceous flowers. The richness of flower border was not too high, and this would affect The development of urban biodiversity.4. Through the search and inspection about the flower border configuration mode, we could know that the main forms of configuration were forest edge border, roadside border, lawn border, water side border. From the perspective of plant material application, the flower border consisted of the same kind of plant, such as perennial border, wild flower border and bulbous flower border, but mixed border application was not too much.
