Hunan province is one of the major provinces of the rape production in China, the rape planting area and output ranked the forefront, rape is the second big crop in Hunan province, it is important position in (?) production.Analysis on rape production cost and benefit, finding out situation of rape production cost, income and benefits and finding method and way of reducing cost and increasing benefits is important significance for adjusting the agriculture production structural, supporting "3farming " policy and ensuring oil safety and sustainable development of agriculture in Hunan province.Analyzing the cost structure、revenues、benefits and their factors in the rape production, combing Hunan Province rice industrial real circumstances, and the methods and ways to Reduce costs and raise benefits of rape production are proposed by adopting the comparative and dialectical analyzing methods. The result shows that:①It is subtropical monsoon climate, which is suitable for the winter rape growth, being sufficient sunlight, rich quantity of heat and full of rain in Hunan province;②The controllable factors of Rape production includes production mode, sowing area, agricultural production and material cost, artificial labor cost, agricultural mechanization degree and related technology promotion, etc;③The the order of rape production costs is fellow:expenses of labour> fertilizer cost> pesticide costs> seed cost>land lease and machinery cost> other cost>repair maintenance cost;④The Unit area rape production profits is big fluctuate and unstable, being influenced by output, production cost and market price;⑤Hunan rape production efficiency and the profit have certain comparative competitive (?)⑥There is some questions related to rapeseed mechanized production varieties,low fertilizer cost, high pesticide cost, low leasing operation level and higher artificial investment cost;⑦It is effective measures of carring out the moderate scale planting and the implementation of the mechanization, promoting the green planting technology, reducing production cost and increasing benefit, by increasing production subsidy dynamics, stabilizing the market price, increasing investment in science and technology in Hunan province.
