Application Study Of Boron In Tobacco Production

To explore effect of the different boron fertilizer on different growth and quality of main flue-cured tobacco varieties to improve yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco in lack of boron area Yunnan, In Yuxi, flue-cured tobacco growth area, Yunnan, effect of the different boron fertilizer on growth, nutrient absorption and distribution, and yield and quality of main flue-cured tobacco varieties K326, Hongda, Yunyan87in pot experiment and field experiment, and model validation in Yuxi, Yunnan Pu’er and Qujing were carried, the results show that,(1) After spraying different boron concentrations, yield per plant leaf area, leaf area coefficient of K326in30days were higher significantly than CK(P<0.05), increased0.26m2,yield per plant leaf area, leaf area coefficient of Hongda in20,30days were higher significantly than CK(P<0.05),increased0.27m2,0.46,0.28m2,0.46. With increasing boron sprayed concentration, stems, leaf dry weight of K326increased, in concentration treatment for1500g/hm2there were the highest dry weigh. Roots, stems, leaf dry weight of Hongda were highest in concentration treatment for1200g/hm2. In field experiment, spraying boron there was significant effect (P<0.05) on flue-cured tobacco leaf dry matter accumulation. Spraying Boron, K.326and Yun87incidence and disease index of TMV were lower than that of the control, indicating that spraying boron can promote the growth of the tobacco plant, in particular to promote the growth of flue-cured tobacco leaves, increase the resistance of the tobacco plant;(2) After spraying of different concentrations boron, boron distribution rate of K326and Hongda were higher than that of CK, spraying concentration to1200g/hm2, boron absorption was the best; Each part of the flue-cured tobacco organ boron absorption quantity expression was:root> stem> leaf, the central leaf> lower leaf> upper leaf. K326and Hongda after sprayed soil boron, foliar of potassium content is higher than that CK, spraying concentration for900g/hm2and1500g/hm2effect were good. Each part of flue-cured tobacco organs of potassium absorption performance:leaf> stem> root, the central leaf> upper leaf> lower leaf. In the field experiment, the potassium content of the leaves are larger than the control, Boron can promote the absorption of tobacco on potassium.(3) Spraying concentration900g/hm2, output, output value, the average price and the upper-middle tobacco ratio of K326is1884.44kg/hm2,31997.79yuan/hm2,16.98yuan /kg and88.61%, there were no significant difference between treatments (p<0.05), however, its price and the proportion of superior tobacco significantly higher than the control and1500g/hm2of treatment (p<0.05). Spraying concentration of900g/hm2, price and proportion of superior tobacco of Hongda was the highest,16.95yuan/kg and46.17%, and were significantly(p<0.05) higher than the control and1500g/hm2of treatment. Field experiments also show that boron sprayed concentration900g/hm2can significantly improve the output value, and the proportion of superior tobacco, can improve the quality of tobacco leaves, the output value of flue-cured tobacco, the average price and the proportion of superior tobacco obviously promote.(4) Demonstration tests in two different ecological zones had achieved good results, Spraying boron, total sugar, total nitrogen, nicotine and nitrogen base ratio and sugar to nicotine ratio, potassium, chloride, potassium chloride of Flue-cured tobacco were more suitable chemical composition more coordinated, can improve potassium content of upper leaves, chloride content of the tobacco was lower than that of the control. Tobacco aroma quality, aroma amount aftertaste becomes good, odor and irritant to reduce tobacco aroma and taste improve to smoking total scores improve.To sum up, spraying boron for different varieties in different experiment conditions on the influence of flue-cured tobacco basic consistent, spraying concentration in the900-1200g/hm2concentration range, promoted the growth and development of tobacco plant, improved the resistance of tobacco plant, dry matter accumulation and value of production, improved the quality of Flue-cured tobacco.
