Study On The Establishment And Application Of Tea Safety Traceability System In Hunan

There are wide varieties of tea in Hunan which is known as the tea hometown of Jiangnan since ancient times. Tea, as a traditional agricultural economy crops in Hunan, has made an outstanding contribution to the export of Hunan. The tea industry has been developing quickly, however, because of lacking effective monitoring measure and symmetry between information and physical chain, the tea in the market now are in a mess. Unsure about the source and destination of unqualified tea, unreliable tea information acquired way to consumers had seriously impeded the development of Chinese tea industry. Moreover, with the strengthening of social care and health awareness, people pay an increasing concern and attention to the quality and safety of tea when they are enjoying the flavor of the tea. At the same time, the developed countries require on imports of tea with quality traceability. In order to face the tough security situation of the quality of tea, enhance the quality and safety control of tea, improve the quality and safety of tea, enhance the market competitiveness of tea in Hunan, and constantly to expand the tea export trade, so we should build up a tea sfety traceability system considering the safety management of tea in Hunan.This thesis is mainly composed of three parts:1. Research on the status of the tea industry in Hunan and security issues. First, we started from the food safety and supervision and introduced the concept of food traceability to tea industry of tea industry of Hunan. According to the production mode, we analyzed the reasons, such as, the pesticide residue in tea products, harmful heavy metal content exceed the standard, harmful microorganisms producing, non-tea foreign matter and dust pollution and tea stale and qualitative change, to record the production information needed, to ensure the integrity of information and consumer right, and to design a traceability system of the tea safety.2. Establishment of a traceability system on Hunan’s tea safety. We combined with the information of Hunan tea production supply chain, selected the appropriate source points, introduced EAN-UCC system and used EAN-UCC-128code to achieve a unique band for every section of tea production, to build up an feasible tea traceability system, and to realize the input of every link from cultivation, processing, transport to sale.3. The implementation realization of tea safety traceability system. In order to ensure the safe and orderly operation of traceability system, tea companies, data platform providers and regulators would be equipped with the corresponding hardware and software device. At the same time, they respectively formulated the corresponding system to sharing information of the tea from the cultivation, production to sales through the Internet. Consumers can visit back platform and get the exhaustive information by inputting traceability code on the net.
