Objectiv: To investigate the expression of Galectin-1, VEGF and CD105-MVDin cervical carcinoma and its relationship with clinical pathological features. Searchfor the index of determining the degree of development, infiltration and transfer ofcervical carcinoma tissues.Method: Immunohistochemical SABC method was used to detect the expressionof Galectin-1, VEGF and CD105-MVD proteins in40cases of cervical carcinoma and20cases of normal cervical tissue. Using the SPSS softword to analyze therelationships with the expression in the cervical carcinoma and the relationship withclinical pathological features and the correlation among the three. Results: The positive rates of Galectin-1and VEGF in40cases of cervical cancertissues were70%and75%respectively,10%and20%in30cases of normal cervicatissue. In cervical carcinoma, The expression of Galectin-1and VEGF weresignificantly higher than normal cervical tissue, there was statistical significance(P<0.05). The expression of Galectin-1and VEGF in cervical cancer tissue werecorrelated with the degree of histological differentiation, FIGO classification andlymph node metastasis(P<0.05),and had no relationship with patient’s age andpathological type The MVD value measured when CD105was as a marker of newbornblood vessel, had relationship with clinical stage and lymph nodemetastasis(P<0.05),and no relationship with patient’s age, pathological type and thedegree of histological differentiation. Galectin-1had a positive correlation with VEGF(P=0.043,r=0.321).And the positive expression of Galectin-1and VEGF both hadpositive correlation with CD105(P=0.003,r=0.453&P=0.016,r=0.379).Conclusion:1.The significant expression of Galectin-1and VEGF in cervicalcancer tissues had positive correlation, the overexpression of Galectin-1might beachieved through up-regulating the expression of VEGF, and participated in the development, transfer and invasion of cervical cancer tissues.2.The MVD value determined by CD105in cervical cancer was significantlyhigher than normal cervical tissue CD105expression in cervical cancer is indicatorof tumor new vessels, which marked capillary density is a possible value.3.The expression of Galectin-1and VEGF protein in cervical carcinoma weresignificantly related with tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, FIGO stage. The MVD value marked by CD105were significantly related with lymph nodemetastasis, FIGO stage in cervical carcinoma. The expression of the three hadsignificantly positive correlation in cervical carcinoma., it prompted that the threehad closely related with the invasion and metastasis of cervical cancer.Thisshowed that the three had closely related with the invasion and metastasis ofcervical cancer tissues, and combined detection can be a valuable predictor of thesituation of newborn blood vessels, metastasis and recurrenceand prognosis incervical cancer tissues.
