Objective:To observe the effect of moxibustion at Zusanli on rats with gastric mucosal lesion after common peroneal nerve transection surgery.Mainly to observe the effect on epidermal growth factor?EGF?and prostaglandin E2?PGE2?in serum and tissue respectively and gastric mucosal apoptosis index?AI?in tissue.To explore the relationship between endogenetic information started by moxibustion for protecting effects on gastric mucosa and the peroneal nerve pathways.Methods:48 SD rats were randomly divided:a normal group?A?,12rats,a modeling group?B+C?,24rats,and a gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion+surgery group?D?,12rats.Group D was given common peroneal nerve transection surgery.Group A was given physiological saline and another groups were established gastric mucosa lesion model.After this,a modeling group?B+C?was randomly divided into two groups?12rats in each group?:A model group?B?,a gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion group?C?.Then,the moxibustion was applied on Zusanli?ST36?to rats in both group C and D.Finally,UI of gastric mucosa were evaluated;EGFand PGE2 were determined with ELISA;Bcl-2,Bax weresurveyed with WB and AI were counted with it.Results:1.After gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion:Compared to group A,UI,EGF and Bax in gastric mucosal were rised in group B and D?P<0.01?;EGF in serum,PGE2in gastric mucosal tissue and serum,Bcl-2 and AI in gastric mucosal were declined?P<0.01?.Compared to group A,UI,EGF and Bcl-2 in gastric mucosal were escalated in group C?P<0.01 or P<0.05?,others were no significant changes?P>0.05?.It showed that the modeling is successful,and moxibustion stimulation can promote gastric mucosal injury repair.2.After gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion:Compared to group B and D,UI and Bax in gastric mucosal were reduced in group C?P<0.01?;While EGF,PGE2 in gastric mucosal tissue and serum,Bcl-2,AI in gastric mucosal were hoisted?P<0.01?.It showed that stimulation of moxibustion can promote repair of gastric mucosal injury by giving rise to part of the endogenous factor,and peroneal nerve transection significantly affects its stimulus effection.3.After gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion:Compared to group B,UI,EGF and PGE2in gastric mucosal tissue and serum,Bcl-2,Bax,AI in gastric mucosal tissue were changed meaningless in group D?P>0.05?.Peroneal nerve transection significantly affects repair effect of moxibustion.And the peroneal nerve is an indispensable part of the neural pathway when moxibustion stimulation promotes repair of gastric mucosal injury.Conclusion:1.After a gastric mucosa injury in rats,UI,EGF and Bax in gastric mucosal tissue were rised,EGF and PGE2 in serum,PGE2 and Bcl-2 in gastric mucosal tissue and AI were declined apparently.It means that changes in these factors are associated with the pathogenesis of gastric mucosal injury.2.After a gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion in rats,UI,Bax in gastric mucosal tissue were reduced,EGF and PGE2 in gastric mucosal tissue and serum,Bcl-2,AI in gastric mucosal tissue was rised significantly,pointting that stimulation of moxibustion can promote repair of gastric mucosal injury by giving rise to part of the endogenous factor.3.After a gastric mucosa injury+moxibustion+surgery in rats,UI,EGF and PGE2 in gastric mucosal tissue and serum,Bcl-2,Bax,AI in gastric mucosal tissue were wassimilar,prompting that the common peroneal nerve has the function of transmitting information when stimulation of moxibustion on the repair of gastric mucosal injury,and it is an indispensable part of the signal neural pathway.
