ObjectiveTrough investigate the influence microcosmic parameters between the phlegm syndrome people, to reseach the corralation of phlegm syndrome with laboratory indicators, and explore the evidence of the diagnose and treatment of phlegm syndrome.MethodsThe study was based on prospective study of the Relation of High homocysteine (Hcy) and Kidney damage. The cases were from the survey in Dongzhi County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province. The survey of phlegm syndrome was performed by Diagnostics of Chinese Medicine. Investigators asked patients item by item and filled out the questionnaire, then judged the patients’s syndrome. Used the univariate and multiple regression analysis to analyze the influence of laboratory indicators on the phlegm syndrome. Epidata3.1was used for double data entry and SPSS17.0for data analysis.ResultsAmong the survey of2581cases of people, the number of phlegm syndrome people is1405, accounting for54.4%of the total. The male and female had no significant difference on phlegm syndrome. The phlegm syndrome group and the no phlegm syndrome group had significant difference on age. The univariate analysis showed phlegm syndrome was correlated with alanine aminotransferase、 A/G、age. The regression analysis was carried out that alanine aminotransferase and age as the independent influencing factors. The rest factors had no statistical meaning.ConclusionAge、alanine aminotransferase have a certain effect on phlegm syndrome, they can use to diagnose phlegm syndrome. A/G is a possible variable, cholesterol、triglyceride、total protein、albumin、fasting liasma glucose、 creatinine、uric acid have no relation with phlegm syndrome, regardless of the levels of them. But this study is a follow-up survey, and all the cases are from the Dongzhi County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province, the study sample has obvious limitation. The laboratory features of phlegm syndrome needs further study.
