To Evaluate The Effect Of Piezoelectric Lithotripter In Treating Different Parts Of The Ureteral Calculi

Objective:Urinary calculi is one of the common diseases, the incidence of calculi disease is1%-5%in our count,even reach up to5%-10%in the south of china. Accounting for the treating calculi patients is the first in hospital,so the treament of calculi patients is important problems in the modern medical. The experiment to evaluate the effect of Piezoelectric Lithotripter in treating different parts of the ureteral calculi.Methods:The37629cases(the right upper ureteric calculi7716cases, mid ureteric calculi4178cases, lower ureterie calculi7111cases, the left upper ureteric calculi9142cases, mid ureteric calculi1712cases, lower ureteric calculi7770cases)urete-calculi patients who applied ESWL from1989to2010were retrospectively analysis, after ESWL2week we took ultrasonic examination and X—ray film inspection and clinical follow-up visit.Results:In the experiment. The clearance rate of the right upper ureteric calculi was72.71%, the clearance rate of mid ureteric calculi was73.21%, the clearance rate of lower ureteric calculi was80.91%.The clearance rate of the left upper ureteric calculi was74.17%, the clearance rate of mid ureteric calculi was73.89%, the clearance rate of lower ureteric calculi was82.48%. Influence factors including the diamerter of stone，the position of stone，the composition of stone,the length of history，the level of hydronephrosis.etc.Conclusion:There are many elements can affect the results what Piezoelectric Lithotripter in treating different parts of the ureteral calculi. Piezoelectric Lithotripter has big diamerter of Ultrasonic generator, the shock wave has produced by piezoelectric crystal，the shock wave after focusing can form small focus. This method is an ideal treatment for ureteral calculi, it has many advantages such as the higher clearance rate of ureteric calculi.no negative stone effect, simple operation.no x-ray injury,safe, few distress, satisfying efect, few complication etc, and it is the first choice for ureteral ealculi.
