The Clinic Observation Of Modified ChaiHu ShuGan Powder Combined With H.Pyplori Eradication Therpy On H.Pylori Associated Chronic Gastritis Of Liver-stomach Disharmony Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Modified Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori, Hp) eradication therpy on treating H.pylori associated chronic gastritis of liver stomach disharmony TCM syndrome type, analyze the clinical symptoms, the gastroscopy and the pathological examination, explore the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine treatment.Methods:According to the principle of randomization and contrast, this clinic study have selected60cases which were dignosed as chronic gastritis, tested as H.pylori positive and belonged to Liver stomach disharmony syndrome.These60cases were randomly divided into treatment group(30cases) and control group(30cases).The control group was given Helicobacter pylori eradication therpy(prilosec20mg, amoxicillin1.0g, clarithromycin0.5g, p.o.Bid)for10days, while the treatment group was given Modified Chaihu Shugan San for14days combined with the H.pylori eradication therpy for10days.Compared the TCM symptoms total score, H.pylori eradicate situation, endoscopic gastric mucosal morphology and histopathological grading before and after treatment of the two groups, and finally made a statistical analysis.Results:The clinical TCM symptoms were greatly improved in both groups,and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group after treatment(P﹤0.05). The endoscopic mucosal morphology(P=0.36) and the histopathological grading(P=0.1) was slightly better but there were no statistical difference between the two groups.The H.pylori eradication rate of the treatment group (83.33%) was not significantly different (P=0.347)from the control group(73.33%).Conclusion:Effects of this TCM and western medicine combined medication was evaluated from the TCM symptoms, eradication rate of H.pylori, endoscopic mucosal morphology changes, histological grading.The etiology, diagnostic criteria, treatment principle and development rule of chronic gastritis was discussed from the two aspects of TCM and western medicine system. The results showed that modified Chaihu Shugan powder combined with H.pylori eradication in the treatment groups has obviously improved in the clinical therapeutic efficacy of TCM syndromes and endoscopic mucosal morphology. The eradication rate of H.pylori and the histopathological grading was slightly better.The result has pointed oue the drug combination method is a better treatment mothed, but its side effects, drug resistance and long term efficacy needs further observation.
