Objective:To investigate the serum HSP27levels and expression levels of CD62P and PAC-1, makers of platelet activation, compared to the normal people, and if any corelationships exists between the serum HSP27levels and platelet activation or coronary artery disease.Method:83inpatients and29normal people were recruited in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. According to the different types of CAD, the42-72year-old patients, were divided into3groups:26in the AMI group,29in the UAP group and28in SAP group; the ages of people in control group was41to75years. We detected, by flow cytometry (FCM), the percentage of platelets on which the CD62P and PAC-1is expressed positive. The concentration of serum HSP27was measured by ELISA, following one-time unfreezing, in order to control the error.Result:CD62P values of Four groups (NC, SAP, UAP, AMI) were8.44±5.83,12.46±6.53,23.02±5.83,27.70±7.27; PAC-1values were9.42±6.78,12.84±5.99,24.10±7.93,30.10±7.22; HSP27values were18.88±4.92,16.28±4.82,22.04±4.84,24.45±3.57. There are statistically significant different between any2of the4groups (P<0.05). In a subgroup, including NC and SAP groups, the pearson correlation analysis shows correlationships between HSP27and PAC-1(r=-0.292, P=0.036) HSP27and CD62P (r=-0.317, P=0.033). Additionally, similar results showed in the other subgroup, including NC, UAP and AMI groups, the correlation coefficient of HSP27and PAC-1is0.252(P=0.035), the correlation coefficient of HSP27and CD62P is0.376(P=0.026).Conclusion:1. HSP27plays arterial protective role in atherosclerosis, the occurrence of atherosclerosis might be related to the weakening of protective effect.2. Platelet activation is associated with plaque instability, the concentration of serum HSP27may be reactive elevated as a protective effect and associated with platelet activation.3.Serum HSP27may be considered as one of biomarkers of SAP and ACS.
