Research BackgroundMyocardial ischemiais is caused by the imbalance between myocardial oxygen consumptionand the blood and oxygen supply of coronary artery, and this condition causes damage tomyocardium. As a common disease, its recurrent is likely to cause arrhythmia or heart failure.Dueto its high acute attack mortality rate caused by its acute attack,This illness has attracted extensiveattention in clinical practices.Anti-myocardial-ischemia drugs studies has made some progress. However, most treatmentsof coronary heart disease focus on activating blood and dissolving stasis. So we add some herbsthat can yiqiyangyin, xuanbitongyang, xingqiliqi and calm the nerves, so as to develop traditionalChinese medicine theory according to which diagnosis and treatment are based on an overallanalysis of the illness.Shu Xin Capsule is a compound preparation which is made from eight Chinese herbsincluding Salvia, Astra and so on.It can yiqi,yangyin, wentong, activate blood, and dissolve stasis.Shu Xin Capsule treats not only the symptoms, but also the root causes. Besides, the effect ofShuxin Capsules on anti-myocardial-ischemia is obvious, it is therefore a promisinganti-myocardial-ischemia drug.This project is guided by Traditional Chinese Medicine theories, applies modernpharmaceutical technology, and conducts preclinical pharmic research on Shu Xin Capsule.1.The Study of Qaulity StandardsObjective quality standard research of ShuXin capsulesMethord(1) Thin layer chromatography is used to do qualitative discriminations on the following sixChinese herbs.:Astra,Salvia,Radix ophiopogonis,dragon’s blood,myrrh,codonopsis pilosula.(2) High performance liquid chromatography is employed to evaluate the content of activeingredient salvianolic acid B. (3) Three batches of samples of shuxin capsules were tested for6thmonths in40±2℃、RH75%±5%circumdation and for one year in normal temperature to testify theses samples’stability.Result and discussion(1)Based on the reasonable process of forming ShuXin capsule,this study established TLCmethod.(2) By using HPLC method, this study provides an effective way to measure the content of activeingredient salvianolic acid B.Chromatographic condition: chromatographic column:Apollo-C18(4.6mm×250mm,5μm);moving phase: acetonitrile-0.1%Phosphoric acid solution(26:74);flow rate:1ml·min-1;detection wavelength:286nm;column temperature:25℃;under the maximum absorption wavelength, the peak seperation was complete and the the numberof theoretical plates meet the requirements.The results showed that the analytic method of usingon standard quality of shuxin capsules is workable and controllable.(3)There is no differences in every indacators of these samples.This showed that Shuxin Capsuleis stable.2.Pharmacodynamics ResearchObjective Pharmacodynamics of ShuXin capsules was studied in aspects of animal and drugs ofpositive control observation.MethordAnimal experiment is used to study the effect of Shuxin Capsule on clottingtimeof these mouse, blood viscosity of these rats,platelet aggregation and the length and wet weight ofthe platelet thrombus.Result and DiscussionCompared with the model group, clottingtime of these mouse was prolonged evidently, bloodviscosity of these rats was decreased, ADP-induced platelet aggregation was inhibited, and thelength and wet weight of the platelet thrombus was reduced. Pharmacodynamics experiment shows that ShuXin Capsules have obvious effect ofactivating blood and have significance in preventing cardiovascular diseases.
