Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect on the clinical applica-tion of extract of Bulbus Allium fistulosum combined withacupuncture therapy in treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liverdisease (phlegm and blood stasis type), objectively evaluatethe clinical efficacy of the Internal and External Co-Treatment Methods of the TCM in the treatment of nonalcoholic fattyliver disease. Methods:During the period of March2012to August2012,the patients, with atotal of65cases, who meet the case standards of NAFLD of phlegmand blood stasis type were selected from the Gastroenterology clinic, the spleen and stomach external treatment center, the Inpatient wardsand the physical examination center in Wuhan No.1Hospital, wererandomly divided into two groups, one group of theTCM extract ofBulbus Allium fistulosum combined with acupuncture therapy istreatment group with a total of33cases (the treatment group), anothergroup of Western medicine Polyene Phosphatidyl choline is controlgroup with a total of32cases (the control group). The two groups were based on intervene in behavior and lifestyle, adjust the diet, strengthenthe exercise, the control group was treated with Polyene Phosphatidylcholine capsules (Essentiale)456mg orally at a time, three times aday; The treatment group was treated with the extract of Bulbus Alliumfistulosum (Boxintong soft capsule)800mg (2tablets) orally at a time, two times a day; Be both acupuncture therapy, grouped the acupointswhich were selected on the basis of Syndrome Differentiation: The firstgroup:Fenglong, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Zhongwan, Yanglingquan,Zhangmen; The second group: Geshu, Danzhong, Qimen, Ganshu,Taichong, Hegu; Each time select a group of acupoints, acupunctureneedles retaining30minutes after Deqi, during the period manipulatedone time, moderate-intensity stimulation; Once a day;The same set ofacupoints for acupuncture6days,1day of rest and then switch toanother set of acupoints, and will be12weeks for a course of treatment. To observe the therapeutic effects of the two groups (TCM symptomscores, ultrasonography dividing integral, anthropometric index(height, weight, waist circumference, BMI), liver function (ALT, AST,GGT),blood lipid (TC, TG, HDL-C,LDL-C),arterial blood pressure andfasting plasma glucose) after the end of treatment, and to do statisticalanalysis.Statistical analyzes were performed using SPSS19.0software for data management and statistical analysis. This study aretwosided test, P<0.05is considered statistically differences,P<0.01there are very significant differences of the standard. With x±Son behalf of the measurement data, if follow anormal distribution (homogeneity of variance), using a pairedcomparison t-test in the group, using two-sample t-test between the two groups; If that do not follow a normal distribution (unequal variances) and the Wilcoxon test was used; Ranked data the Wilcoxon test was used; Count data theχ2-test(Chisquare test) was used.Results:1. Accordance with the overall curative effect standards, the treatment group, the total effective rate is84.85%, andthe control group is78.13%, there is significant differencecompared with the overall curative effect after the treatmentin two groups(P<0.05), with statistical significance.2. Anthropometric index (weight, waist circumference andBMI) and blood pressure, blood glucose in the two groups ofpatients before and after treatment are showed no significantdifference(P>0.05); Two groups of patients after treatmentwith other indicators treatment compared to before treatmentwith significant differences(P<0.05or P<0.01);The two groups ofpatients after treatmen trelevant results compared, theALT, AST, TG of the treatment group compared with the controlgroup is no significant difference(P>0.05);And the TC, HDL-Cand LDL-C of the treatment group compared with the controlgroup is significant difference(P<0.05);But the GGT in thecontrol group compared with the treatment group is significantdifference(P<0.05);3. According to the standard integral evaluation of ultra-sonography dividing integral, the two groups of patients afterthe treatment, compared the ultrasound indexing integral withthe pre-treatment,there are significant differences(P<0.05),but the two groups of patients after treatment, ultrasonography dividing integral compared with show no significant difference (P>0.05);4. According to the standard integral evaluation of TCMsymptom scores, the TCM symptom scores of two groups of patients after treatment than before treatment had significantdifference(the treatment group P<0.01and the control group,P<0.05);The TCM symptom scores of the treatment groupcompared with the control group after treatment, there aresignificant difference (P<0.05).Conclusions:This study shows that the two treatment methods for thepatients with NAFLD have a certain therapeutic effect, but thetreatment group in ameliorating clinical symptoms and TC、HDL-Cand LDL-C are obviously better than the control group, and inameliorating patients GGT of the control group have a certainAdvantage, the therapeutic effect of the ultrasound imaging inthe two groups is fairly;Adequately display that there have ad-vantages in ameliorating patients’symptoms and improving thequality of life that used the "Activating Yang" theory, took the TCMInternal and External Co-Treatment Method of extract ofBulbus Allium fistulosum combined with acupuncture therapy to cure the NAFLD (phlegm and blood stasis type),worthy of further research and popularize.
