The object of this thesis is Chinese Teaching Materials in Chinese School ofPhilippines. The study is based on the evolution of Chinese Teaching Materials duringthe Philippine Overseas Chinese education period and Chinese education period toanalyze the influencing factors which include politics, society, schools and teachingmaterial compilation in using Chinese Teaching Materials.At the end of this thesis, the conclusion of the history of Chinese TeachingMaterials is made and some strategies for Chinese Teaching Materials in Philippinesare given. First, according to the characteristics of Chinese School diploma educationin Philippines, the systematic compilation for Chinese Teaching Materials is needed.Second, to design and compile Teaching Materials needs to consider the differentlevels of learners. Third, the content of Teaching Materials should be localizedflexibility, funny and learn ability. Fourth, to respect the traditional customs andpsychological feeling of Chinese Schools in Philippines, both of the SimplifiedChinese Characters and Traditional Chinese Characters and Pinyin Symbols andPhonetic Symbols should be handled properly. Fifth, focus on training teachers. Sixth,focus on the over-all design of Teaching Materials. Eighth, focus on the quality ofprinting, binding and cover-design. Ninth, focus on the promotion of TeachingMaterials. Tenth, focus on the feedback of Teaching Materials.
