Negative adverbs "bu"and "mei" in modern Chinese is one of diffculty in studying Chinese as a second language. This paper focuses on researching the usage of negative structures with "bu"and "mei" used by Chines Indonesians, which is based on questionaire. We adopts the methods of quantitative analysis to analyze the statistical figures, so as to describe and analyze the acquisition laws,the types of errors and the causes of errors,then proposes the difficulty levels of learning "bu" and "mei" by Chinese Indonesian students,and puts forward the solutions.The paper divided seven parts. The first part is to introduce the cause of the paper,determines the scope and aims of the study. The second part is a review of research,which gives a brief describe to the research profile about "bu"and "mei" in modern Chinese ontology research and acquisition research.The third part contrasts "bu""mei" with Indonesia negetive adverbs "tidak""belum",to find out the semantic relationship about them.The fourth part introduces the survey background,method,and questionnaire design. The fifth part describes the survey results in two aspects of error rate and correct rate fristly, and divides negative structures into acquisition level grade,then describes and analyzes the survey results. In the sixth part,the general difficulty levels of learning Chinese negative structures by Chinese Indonesians is proposed, the misuse of "bu""mei" is described, the distribution characteristics of error types is summarized,and the causes of error is analyzed.The seventh part makes a simple conclution to this research,and proposes suggestions on teaching in Chinese Indonesian.
