As presented in The Fine Arts Course Standard, art teaching should adapt tothe requirements for quality education; the humane spirit and aesthetic abilityshould be trained for the development for the students, in order to lay a goodfoundation in promoting the formation of students healthy personality and overalldevelopment. Adolescence is the key period of growth; art education in adolescentstage has far-reaching profound significance.Modern Art, has gradually evolved into the possibility of prompting thecommunication between the eyes and the external world, and kept remindingpeople not to bind the eyes with conceptions, or to bind their own perceptions andpossibilities in viewing. The aesthetic standards of the new generation studentshave changed unprecedentedly. Their psychological requirements are no longer theexisting framework in mind, or holding the dogma. Therefore, it is imminent toexplore the fine arts education more suitable for the youth development. Inaddition, the appearance of new theories in the art education have laid a goodfoundation, such as the theory of Lowenfeld in creativity and mental growth,Arenheim Visual Thinking Theory, Art Therapy Theory,etc.This article is the analysis and research on how adolescence art educationcould fit for the phycological and physiological requirements. New explorationshave been attempted in specific education in adolescence built for rationalizationapplications based on present art education theoretical system. Theoretical analysishas been made on cases of art therapy applications and the adolescence arteducation research. Finally, my personal ideas have been attempted based on myown experience in the practice of adolescence art teaching.
