This paper aims at pointing out the teaching strategies and teaching methods ofthe Chinese intensive reading. As there are some shortages in its recent teaching, thispaper will set an example of Qi Pao from the point of vocabulary, grammar and culture.We hope it will offer some references for teaching Chinese intensive reading.The paper can be divided into four parts.In the first part, based on the studies of Chinese intensive reading and instructionaldesign, it points out some teaching problems in teaching Chinese intensive reading.The problems are lack of systematic vocabulary teaching, grammar teachinggeneralization and the unreasonable organization of examples and exercises.In the second part, according to the instructional theory and teaching strategy ofthe Chinese intensive reading, it will summarize and analyze the text books, types oflesson and knowledge points from the form and content. It sets "QiPao" as example onthe ground of knowledge specialty.In the third part, it will focus on the teaching analysis and demonstration fromvocabulary teaching, grammar teaching and culture teaching. It is the result of theanalysis of the previous two parts and the teaching practice of the Chinese intensivereading.In the last part, it will come to conclusion about the teaching strategies of theChinese intensive reading.
