Idioms are basically from ancient inheritance, condensation formed in the courseof which contains many deep-seated meaning, is the" living fossil of Chineselanguage". Idioms and more specific category, with animal name idioms, we call itanimal idioms.Animal idioms as a part of idioms, Chinese idioms has universality. Its source isbasically the same with the idiom. Buddha from myth", a powerful and unconstrainedstyle" fable" yegonghaolong", the story" deliberately misrepresent," literary "oldpeople"," be a wolf with a savage heart" oral literature, Buddhism and intervene in theforeign culture" finishing touch" etc.. Of course, in general at the same time, animalidioms has its own particularity. Due to the different people for the same animalemotions, so that foreign students in learning Chinese idioms, especially animalidioms often appear some problems. This paper focuses on animal idioms in cultural,semantics, syntax and other aspects of teaching, explore the effective teaching methodof animal idioms. In the cultural dimensions of teaching, we focus on the number oftop eight horses, fish, bird, dog, tiger, cow, dragon, chicken, thorough analysis, as wellas those of the animal is never alone to carry on the analysis, to explore effective waysof culture teaching. In the semantic dimensions of teaching, we will focus on animalidioms according to their emotion classification, and explain in detail the animalidioms between synonyms, antonyms among teaching method. In grammar teaching,we follow the traditional way of animal idioms are divided into the following thirteencategories; parallel structure, subject-predicate structure, linkage structure, partialstructure, turning structure, undertake the structure, language structure, this structure,Predicate-complement structure, assumptions about the structure, goal structure, causal structure, sentence structure. Which parallel structure can continue to subdividethe subject-predicate type in parallel, juxtaposed, Chinese predicate-object set parallel,juxtaposed shaped Chinese four. Complex sentence structure can be divided intoconditional clauses, causal complex sentences, complex sentence, complex sentence,complex sentence, choice of turning complex sentences, complex sentences,hypothetical complex sentences, so that students master the internal structure.Animal idioms animal studies due to the relatively short time, had the research ofanimal idioms are relatively systematic arrangement, and did not have to foreignlanguage teaching method. This paper attempts to stand on the shoulders of giants, asthe animal idioms teaching in terms of the establishment of a systematic researchprogram, the hope can bring teaching workers to provide some reference and help.
