In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, modern Chinese adverb oftime is one of the important and difficult points. The paper study at commonly adverb oftime in modern Chinese, based on previous research results as well as my two years’teaching experience in Thailand.The first part is the introduction and first reviewed the status of previous scholars onthe ontology of the modern Chinese adverb of time and acquisition, analysis of the resultsobtained in the study, and then explain the meaning of an adverb of time research.According to Zhang Yisheng adverbs of time summarized and combined with14commonly used time adverbs as the object of study from " Chinese Proficiency Standardsand grammar grades Outline"(1998) to analysis and research the Thai students’ errors inusing Chinese commonly used adverb of time depend on Thai student’s’ languagematerials on class and survey questionnaire as a partial mistake corpus. I hope it canprovide some help for teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.The second part briefly describes the division of the past each school on thedefinition of adverb of time, and its scope to provide a basis for the later study andreference.The third part of modifier a simple comparative analysis on the commonly timeadverbs between Chinese and Thai language, and provide the basis for the back of thebias analysis.The fourth part summarizes the type of bias Thai students to learn Chinesecommonly used adverb of time, and then use of error analysis theory summed up fivekinds of bias incorrectly added, omission, mistake on behalf of, the wrong sequence andother error.Among of the types of mistake on behalf of class bias most serious.According to the types of bias summarizes the emergence of bias from the five aspects,and then gives some teaching suggestions.Finally, the conclusion of full-text analysis summary points out the shortcomingsand confusion at, aims to provide a reference for the teaching of adverbs of time.
