With the rapid development of China’s economy and the continuous improvement of China’s international status, Chinese influence in the international arena is increase steadily. More and more people learn Chinese all over the world, and the number of people learning Chinese increases the growth trend. At present, China has been established "Confucius Institute" in104countries and regions to run Chinese Classroom. At the same time, there are a large number of foreigners come to China to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture. Teaching Chinese as a foreign language has entered an unprecedented thriving period. However it is an new branch of science now, it still have shortcomings in many ways, so it needs the research and valuable advices of TCFL experts and Chinese fans’ to guide TCFL correct, make it long and vigorous development. In this prosperous period, we must seize this valuable opportunity to let the world understand China, let Chinese language and Chinese culture to the world. This is not only the needs of Chinese learners around the world, but also enhance China’s cultural soft power.This paper based on the practical experience of Chinese teaching for foreigners, combined the TCFL sector research, based on the principle of the theory and practice, use the literature research method, detailed reading of the text and comprehensive analysis method to research the cultural communication in TCFL. Language is the carrier of culture, the language itself is also a kind of culture, without the culture we can not master the language. So language teaching is bound to combine cultural teaching. The essence of culture teaching in the classroom teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language is the spread of Chinese culture. So TCFL is not only a language teaching, but also as a bridge to spread Chinese culture. According to the characteristics of TCFL, the paper make a theoretical reflection on the culture communication in TCFL, and discussed from three factors:the characteristics of TCFL, Chinese culture and the culture factors of TCFL, cultural teaching method. And determined that Chinese Classroom is the best medium of the spreading of Chinese culture. Divided the Chinese culture into two parts: knowledge culture and communicative culture. Advocated to use the stage of culture teaching method in special culture class, use the infiltrating culture teaching mode in the language class. And on this basis put forward the cross culture teaching method. Cross culture teaching method is combine the stage of culture teaching method with the infiltrating culture teaching mode, entered the culture communication into TCFL on real significance.
