The Politics Of Translation In Literature Field

The relationship between literature works and translation politics is a important question in comparative literature and poetry. The politics of translation-after the scholars’ study has become a dynamic system that including ideology, patron, poetics, discourse system, translation strategies, subsidiary text and so on. But this system was also born shortcomings of extensive political and pan ideology. So this theory system applied in certain limitation. This paper from the interpretation, criticism, reflection on three levels cleared and analysed the question about the conscious or unconscious power politics.The main part of paper consists of three chapters, the introduction part introduce the present situation of research on the politics of translation in detail, then propose the research problem and significance of this paper. The first chapter introduce the origin of translating political question from cultural background and theory background, then define the concept of translating politics though absorbing foreign research results and combined with the relation of comparative literature. The second chapter cut out the two dimension on ideas and methods, explanting the guiding effect of mainstream ideology to literary translation and the intervenient effect of subsidiary text to literary translation, then analyse its ideological core. The third chapter is a highlight and focus of the article. It focus on the criticism and reflection of the issues, from the theoretical and applied limitation, the rationality and the contribution of the issues. Translation of political research can broaden the cultural studies and the horizon of translation studies, induce translation from traditional linguistics technically freed, and into the context of globalization of world culture collision between the dialogue, communication, thinking.After the profound analyse, the article concluded:(1) Translation is not a mere technical and linguistic conversion, but a furnace that mix times, politics, history as cubic structure.(2) The explanation of foreign literature and the compiling literary history take the translation as research object. This method is one-sided and not scientific.(3) The system of theory is still not perfect, you must be vigilant into the astray that pan ideology and politics.(4) Translators are responsible for reproduction and retention of translation style of the original work, but also take into account the reader’s language culture and habits.
