| This is a translation project report on Relevant News Reports on the "ArabSpring". Four News reports and review articles are the source text, that is, EgyptNews----Revolution and Aftermath, Tumult of Arab Spring Prompts Worries inWashington, If the Arab Spring Turns Ugly and Immigrants Wonder What Arab SpringWill Mean for Them. The source text is mainly consisted of relevant news reports of the"Arab Spring", which took place in the Arab world. This report is consisted of four parts.Part one is an introduction of the translation project, including the background, thepurpose and the significance of it. Part two introduces the background, the main content,the target audiences, the linguistic characteristics of the source text as well as commentson it. Part three states the important points and difficult points in the processing ofsource text translation, and the methods and skills applied to solve the problems. Partfour concludes the inspiration, lessons and experience the translator had got from thetranslation project, as well as some problems that are remain unsolved. |
