The Flying Dandelion

Chen Ying was one of the writers who began writing in the1920s—1930s. Shewas an excellent female writer, and was being a linking role in the Chinese history ofliterature.In recent years,the studies about her novels have becoming flourishing,andhave got some achievements. Chen Ying was also a very outstanding translator,at theage of sixty,she issued the first literary works she translated,Letter from an unknownwoman,it received unexpected high opinions,the translation work almost became thedesignated one.Since then,Chen Ying continued to translate novels,mainly shortstories,and published the "Dandelion" series.Although impressive achievements shehad made,but it is a pity that no one has studied her translation works.Therefore,thispaper choose Chen Ying’s translation works as the object of study,and intend to studyfrom the angle of human nature,through the text analysis to get the glimpse of thehuman nature which the translator herself expressed,and to confirm the position ofChen Ying.It is also the pursuit of perfection of the study which concerning her worksand herself.This paper consists three parts:introduction,main body,conclusion.Introduction ismainly about the research status of Chen Ying and the value,the methods and thecontent of this project.The main body consists three chapters,the first chapter ismainly about the human caring to woman,and it is on the basis of analysis of thefemale topic novels to present the human caring to woman with the analysis of thesefemale images.The second chapter is mainly about the human caring to children,bymeans of arrangement of the works concerning children to analyse the characters.TheThird chapter proceeds with the male disadvantaged groups in the works,with theanalysis of the characters to reach a conclusion of the human caring to this group ofpeople.The last part is the conclusion,it is a summary of this paper.
