The mainstream film has been strongly cherished and supported by government, which plays the roles of spreading National Ideology and Social Mainstream Values. With the development of economic, along with intensified social transformation and the impact of the foreign film culture, the audience aesthetic psychological has undergone tremendous changes, thus the previous inflexible and boring mainstream film no longer receives the love from the audiences. Then, the mainstream film in order to better catering to public taste, which appears the phenomenon of the mainstream film beginning to "commercialization". At the same time,with the coming of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the communist party established festivals, because of the government strongly advocacy, which has set off a hot agitation of mainstream film. The commercial movie in order to close to the mainstream ideology and get asylum and license from mainstream, which appears the phenomenon of the commercial movie beginning to "mainstreaming". However, the Fengxiaogang’s movies are very successful commercial movies in the Chinese movies. Therefore, this paper sets the example of Fengxiaogang’s movies to explore the "mainstreaming" phenomenon of commercial movie.This paper includes three chapters. The first part focuses on the "mainstreaming" phenomenon of Fengxiaogang’s movies,which mainly interpret the specific phenomenon from three aspects, there are as follows:close to the mainstream ideology, embodied humanistic care and inheriting the traditional culture;The second part proposes the reason of the "mainstreaming" phenomenon of Fengxiaogang’s movies,there are mainly mainstream ideology advocating, market driving, cultural value regression and director’s consciousness disillusioned,and so on. The third part speculative some enlightenments about the"mainstreaming" phenomenon of Fengxiaogang’s movies to Chinese film,according to the analysis of previous phenomenon. Fengxiaogang’s movies set the example for Chinese movie, and explore a special road for Chinese movie market.
