Through the economic crisis in recent years, the garment industry has made are-adjustment and industrial upgrading. The changes of the increased production costs, theweakened exports, the domestic and international economic situation are bound to forceChina’s garment industry to improve product quality, to take the brand developmentstrategy. In the new situation, how the apparel brand to promote, how the brandconnotation to convey, how make the effective visual marketing, these are an urgencyand challenging issue. In the fierce brand competition,the domestic garment industry hasgradually realized the importance of "visual economy". In the aspects of the fashion visualmerchandising," the window displays " that is namely traditional and modern form is areasonable and effective way to interpret the product styles and brand connotations. Thispaper based on. Taking the window displays of the luxury clothing brand as the researchobject, this paper researches and sorts out the definition, meaning, importance, displayways and display characteristics of the luxury goods, and analyses the current situation ofthe domestic window display. Through the analysis and reference from the foreignsuccessful clothing brands to rethink the domestic clothing brand, to promote the attentionof the showcase art, in order to achieve the aim the promotion and dissemination of thebrand.Under the visual merchandising links,this paper analyses the background andsignificance of the luxury window displays,highlight the importance of the windowdisplay of the luxury clothing brands.
