Objective:To investigate students’ self-esteem, coping style and self consistency and congruence and the status of the relationship between the three, investigation of coping style in college students’ sense of self value and self consistency and congruence between the intermediary role, hand hoping to enrich and deepen the study on Self-consistency and congruence of college students, on the other hand for the psychological health education of college students and provide scientific theory basis, improve the level of psychological health for college students. Methods:the self-worth scale, simple coping style questionnaire, self consistency and Congruence Scale550college students conducted a questionnaire survey. Conclusion:(1) disharmony between self and experience of gender exist significant differences, girls scored higher than boys; positive coping styles there was significant difference in gender, girls scored higher than boys, in the face of pressure and difficulties, girls tend to be more active coping style; the individual orientation of special self-value in the sense of gender also exists significant difference, boys scored higher than girls.(2) social orientationspecial self value sense in national ownership exists significant difference, minority students scored higher than Han students.(3) the self flexibility and social orientationspecial self value sense of the students have significant difference, from city college students scored higher than the student from countryside.(4) disharmony between self and experience in Arts and science belong to the existence difference, liberal arts college students scored higher than the science students.(5) negative coping style in the one-child differences, non-only children scored higher than the one-child, it shows that in the face of pressure and difficulties, non-only children tend to be more negative coping style.(6) disharmony between self and experience in the family economic status, there were significant differences in the economic situation of the family, poor college students scored highest, family economic condition good students scored in the lowest; self flexibility in the family economic status, there were significant differences, family economic condition good students scored highest, family economic status moderate lowest score; social orientation in the general sense of self value in the family economic status, there were significant differences, family economic status secondary students scored highest, family economic status is poor college students scored in the lowest.(7) the self flexibility in grade, there is a significant difference, the big four students scored highest, freshman students scored in the lowest; self stereotype in grade, there is a significant difference, the big four students scored highest, a lowest score; positive coping styles in the grades are notable sex differences, the big four students scored highest, the big three students scored in the lowest; self-worth in grade differences exist, the big four students scored highest, the big three students scored in the lowest; social orientationspecial self worth in the grade differences also exist, the big four students scored highest, the big three students scored in the lowest.(8) negative coping style in the father’s education exists significant difference, father was illiterate students scored in the lowest, father’s education for junior middle school gets the highest score.(9) disharmony between self and experience in mother’s education degree existence difference, mother’s education degree is the bachelor students scored in the lowest; self flexibility in the mother’s level of education have significant differences, mother’s education degree is high school students scored the highest; negative coping style in the mother culture extent there exist significant difference, education level of mother is illiterate students scored lowest, mother’s education degree college students scored the highest; self-worth in the mother culture degree existence difference, mother’s education degree is the bachelor students scored the highest; the individual orientation of general self-worth in the mother’s level of education are different, the mother culture the degree is the bachelor students scored the highest individual orientation; special sense of self value in the mother’s level of education also exist differences, mother’s education degree is the bachelor students scored the highest.(10) college students’ sense of self value and self harmony was significantly related, self consistency and congruence and coping style was significantly related (except negative coping style and self flexibility not related), self-worth and coping style was significantly related to.(11) University Students’ coping style is influencing self-worth of self consistency and congruence mediating variables. Suggestions:first, college mental health education and mental health work in the promotion and maintenance of mental health of college students should pay attention to guide students in the correct understanding of self, self, admit their advantages, face their own shortcomings, so as to improve the college students’ sense of self value. Through the promotion of College Students’sense of self value in order to maintain a high level of self consistency and congruence, make the relationship between the two embark on a virtuous track, in order to promote the psychological health. In second, the implementation of mental health education in the process, should according to different grades students’ demand and development characteristics, choose a different content, targeted to carry out psychological health education work. Third, in order to timely carry out stress and coping style of training training, so that students learn self-regulation, in the face of pressure and stress events to take a more active coping style. Fourth, to enable students to form a positive and effective coping style, parents should pay attention to health, science, modest upbringing. Finally, efforts should be made to create the school the fine school spirit, for students to provide a good learning, growth environment, in order to promote the students have a high level of self-worth, and the high level of self-worth can make students tend to be positive coping style, in order to better avoid students coping styles and negative due to improper adverse consequences, and to improve the self harmony.
