A Study On The Landscape Of Taoist Temples In Wudang Mountain

Taoism as an only indigenous religion in China,it has produced a certain effect in many areas of our culture. Taoist temples contains many historical and cultural information. Under the double feature of Taoist culture and natural environment, Mount Wudang Taoist Temple forms self-character and become an important part of Taoist culture. On the basis of sequential elements in constructing landscape architecture, this paper provides relevant reference evidence to history evolution, present, distribution, Taoist-style architecture, featured ornaments and temple gardening in Mount Wudang areas of the important Taoist temples, and proposes corresponding protection and utilization recommendations.Combining theory with practice,this paper studies5existing Taoist temples in Mount Wudang. Through analyses,final conclusions are given as follows:Wudang Taoist is affected by eudal emperors awareness and the natural terrain, it aspects of space layout of architectural for reflected diversified feature.Spatial environment of Mount Wudang Taoist is created natural environment, selection of a location, space layout,building shape,temples and many other aspects of gardening.Focusing on and researching extensive social influence of Taoist temples in Mount Wudang areas,it is benefit the protection and utilization of temples,and inheritance and development of traditional Chinese culture.
