In the teaching of foreign languages, usually the idioms of the language are thedifficulty of teaching. Whether the structure or cultural of Chinese phrase, is thebiggest obstacle to the students learning. More than half a century, many experts andscholars explored and studied of the phrase of the definition, nature, source, structure,use Etc, and achieved fruitful results. But very few articles in-depth investigated theactual teaching.This thesis includes four Chapters as follow.Chapter1is introduction. This section introduces the reason why I selected thetopic, status and significance of the topic. And by the summary of the status of thephrase, found some problems in the phrase teaching.Chapter2discusses the phrase in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Thissection contains the idiom teaching content and teaching strategies of three levels ofthe phrase.Chapter3discusses the problems in the field of present idiom teaching. Thereare teaching level, and non-teaching level.In Chapter4, I give some methods for how to more effectively teaching thephrase, and try to find out the law of the idiom teaching.Chapter5is the conclusion. Summarizes the main contents of this paper pointedout the inadequacies, and raises some questions.
