Idiomatic phrase mainly includes four types:idioms, proverbs, phrases, allegorical saying. Idiomatic phrase is an important member of the Chinese culture, which is the popular language form in daily life and saturated with national habits, ideas and value orientation. Idiomatic phrase learning also occupies an important position in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. It not only implies the need of improving the level of Chinese, but also indicates the needs of learning the development of Chinese politics and history. However, at present, compared with practical teaching, there is still a long way to go for the research of idiomatic phrase teaching. Therefore, considering 25 popular textbooks used by the Institute of International Education in Anhui University, this paper will give a statistical analysis to the idiomatic phrase included and a comparison between<The Grade Division of Syllables, Characters and Words in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language> (abbreviated as<the Grade Division>). The questionnaire survey, summary, quantitative analysis and other methods will be used and some operational suggestions will be put forward.Combined Investigation with analysis of previous studies, it is concluded that for the importance and necessity of< Grade Division of Idiomatic phrase Hierarchy>, and some suggestions will be put forward on developing the standard of recording vocabularies.,in order to promote the appearance of the< Grade Division of Idiomatic phrase Hierarchy> in advance and the formation of "trinity model", which means hierarchy division of idiomatic phrase, lexicon, character and syllable can be considered as a whole. Meanwhile, the paper also signifies in the aspect of improving the stylistic construction of< hierarchy division of syllable, characters and idiomatic phrase for Chinese International Education>.This paper is divided into eight parts.Chapter One is the introduction, which describes the purpose and significance of the research. And relevant literature and research status were studied with comb.Chapter Two is the study of Chinese idiomatic phrase, whose definition and interpretation with Chinese Traditional Culture will be described.Chapter Three surveys 25 textbooks, which were used by the Students who come from the College of International Education in Anhui University. Then the materials will be studied through type, layout, distribution, as well as the relevance among textbooks. Based on the previous research, some suggestions will be proposed on the arrangement of textbooks.Chapter Four studies vocabularies of the< Grade Division>, which will be analyzed in terms of quantity, type, and distribution. Compared the data from< Grade Division> with the data from textbooks to analyze.Chapter Five is to research idiomatic phrase used by students, using questionnaires and sampling statistics from HSK. The errors and the cause of errors will be found on the basis of the corpus.Chapter Six focused on the analysis on idiomatic phrase teaching of TCFL. Combined with my teaching experience at the Institute of International Education in Anhui University,We can note the status quo as idiomatic phrase teaching of TCFL. In addition to make recommendations to improve the idiomatic phrase teaching.Chapter Seven referred to the formulation of<Grade Division of Idiomatic phrase Hierarchy>, which illustrated the necessity and significance of the< Grade Division of Idiomatic phrase Hierarchy> and discovered the relevant problems of collecting within the idiomatic phrase hierarchy.Chapter Eight made conclusions of the main points and explain other issues which should be noted.
